Third meeting of Network of Medical Councils of South East Asia Region.

"Third meeting of Network of Medical Councils of South East Asia Region" Scheduled to be held in Kathmandu, Nepal 25-27th November 2009.

The specific objectives of this meeting are :

  1. Role of medical council in regulating medical practice.
  2. Presentation and discussion: Draft 'Handbook of medical ethics & a facilitators guide'.
  3. Presentation and discussion: Draft 'Guideline on continuing Medical Education for SEAR countries'.
  4. Technical discussion: Draft 'Guideline on Institutional Quality Assurance (QA) mechanism for institutes of the region'
  5. Discussion on proposed 'Constitution of the Medical Councils Network. Review of Progress made by the Network of Medical Councils since its establishment in 2007.
  6. Priority activities to be carried out by the Medical Councils Network secretariat during the 2010-2012.
